not totally true..There is a 2.5GB limit then you are suppose to be throttled to 2G apeed for the remainder of the 30 days which is worthless - MerrykaliaExplorer IIStraight Talk has

Be aware that on Straight Talk you will have 3G and not 4G.
My wife uses Straight Talk and likes it a lot, but she is limited to 3G data.
this is not true if you have a GSM ATT compatible phone. Our Galaxy express gets 4G LTE and my Moto Atrix 2 gets 4G.
CDMA phones on ST are limited to 3G - wa8yxmExplorer IIII use the S-III on T-Mobile, and .. Well that's why you are reading this.
Other than the fact T-Mobile does not have Verizon's coverage (Straight Talk is, I think Verizon, but am not sure) Very happy.
The one thing I will warn you about is data usage, the S-III has a way to monitor it, and you should do so,, Now with my T-Mobile account "SURPRISE" is not going to happen, but with many other providers it can. - mdamerellExplorerIf you go to the straight talk website there s a compatibility page. You can put in the numbers from the phone and they will tell you if it will work on their system.
Verizon also has prepaid phone plans (monthly and blocks of minutes) that might be an option for you. We had a phone that straight talk would not accept and got almost as good a deal from Verizon prepaid.
Good luck. - 1775ExplorerBe aware that on Straight Talk you will have 3G and not 4G. With TMobile no contract monthly plans you will 4G with the Galaxy S3. There is a $30 unlimited data, text and 100 mins talk with 4g (4G up to 5GB) with TMobile if the phone or Sim Card is purchased at Walmart or from the TMobile website. Just seems a shame not to not have full data speed with this phone on Straight Talk.
