Hints on using BaseCamp

"The second critical thing to know is that ALL Garmin Nuvi models will recalculate the route as soon as you try to use it. That means you have to create the route in Basecamp in such a way that it is impossible for the Nuvi to recalculate it so that it's different from the way it was programmed in Basecamp. That's what the comments above are referring to ... tricks necessary to force a route to remain the same after a Nuvi recalculates it as it was when you created it in Basecamp."
