Garmin GPS RV760 LMT

Battery life is minimal, the device is designed to be powered from the vehicle.

Tech support is very good.

Voice recognition meets all my needs on the road, rarely have to touch the device.

Accuracy is so/so. I don't rely on it blindly for navigation, and I strongly recommend no one rely solely on computerized devices for navigation. They are an aide and nothing more.

To add, the 760 is discontinued, has been for a bit now. If you're getting a good price, get one, otherwise get the newer model.

Great product. The large screen makes it possible to still see and read the screen as you are driving and bouncing down the road. You can also set up the Garmin with the height of your trailer which will warn you if your trailer will not clear the height of an underpass. The split screen visual picture of freeway exit lanes you are approaching is very helpful. I have run the Garmin for about 1 hr. with just the battery. I always run with my Garmin plugged into the truck. I have had 3 different Garmins and each one has improved with more features.
I have the RV770 model.

I opted for the 770 as it has WiFi updates for maps and software. No computer required.

Have never used the battery more than 15 minutes, so I can't tell you how long it will last - it should be plugged into the mount where it will receive power from.

Overall a good GPS, I'd buy another. The large screen is great and the speaker is loud so you can her the instructions over the MH noise when in heavy traffic so you don't have to watch the screen all of the time.

I use mine for both the MH and the Jeep, you just have to remember to switch it back and for the vehicle size so you get the best directions.

Have a 760 and very pleased. Opted for and added a rear camera for our truck - a great addition. Maps are easy to update, in fact ours is being updated now.

They've been out of production a few years now. The price Google is showing looks like some sort of placeholder price.

Since Garmin no longer makes them, I guess the people that still have a new one could ask anything they want.

But since the 660 and 770 are cheaper then that, by a bunch, my guess is they don't sell many at that price.

Did you try searching this Forum for `RV760'?
