Garmin GPS

We had the same experience as docj with our 465T. I always compared the route it chose with Google maps or a paper map before accepting it as gospel. Once it refused to route us correctly to the Grand Canyon North area since those roads are truck restricted. It kept trying to make us take the back forest roads which are all gravel! Since I always made sure the route was what I wanted before we departed I never had a problem but it did make spur of the moment changes in route less likely. We used it for two years traveling all over the Southwest and Northeast before getting the RVND7720 by Rand McNally for the current trip. I like it much better though it has a very steep learning curve. It is programmed for an RV and has much better points of interest in it as well.
