I agree, it may need to be rebooted, but I'm not familiar with that model, so can't help you. One thing to keep in mind is that even though you are sitting still, and have been for may 15 min. to hours, if the GPS is on, it's still receiving from the satellite, and as the signal strength varies it will "think" it's moving, as it gets varying signals from different satellites. You won't notice it on the MPH icon, but if you clear out the moving history, & speed & check it an hour later, it will look like you've been on a one hour drive.
