Garmin RV 660 LMT

Looking for personal expierences with the 660, I just bought one and have had some difficulty’s with it. Also was told that line has been discontinued? Also does yours have the latest software update 3.90. Thanks

Have you set up an online account with Garmin, and downloaded the Garmin Express application for Windows? That's a good place to start. Garmin Express will check your unit's software and map id and let you download/apply any updates that might be out there. Then you'll be up to date with maps and software.
As far as discontinued, probably true. They obsolete stuff almost as fast as they can ship it out the door.

Done all that, have a problem with the propane warning, cannot inhibit the warning. Thus asking for real life experience. Thanks

I had the propane warning that wouldn't turn off. Very annoying! Called Garmin, they suggested updating the maps and everything was fine.

Try doing a hard reset. See the Garmin. Website for instructions. If I recall, I did a hard reset then the map update.
Done that updated twice still no joy.

Went to the garmin website and there support center, unable to find instructions on doing a hard reset. Also down loaded the 660 manual. Could not find information on hard reset in either source. How did you do a hard reset? Thanks

    I. Sorry, I really don't remember. I looked for the email from Garmin, but it was too long ago. I would call or email Garmin, they were pretty helpful.
