What is missing from 785 that is on the 890?
For starters I believe the 890 can connect directly to the internet and upgrade maps and data on the fly. You do not have to update via a computer.
I also believe it has a larger data base and is much easier to use as a trip planner. It also has the ability to easily alter routes.
The 890 is a tablet that is being used as a dedicated GPS.
