I have a question regarding setting up the RV profile in this GPS. We tow a 30' 5er (rated at 10,175 GVWR), with a F350 (rated at 11,500 GVWR). This gives a total of 10.8 tons. Is this the correct number to input into the settings, even though part of the weight of the RV is seen by the truck?
The GVWR is the total of vehicle plus max cargo allowable. My Tundra's GVWR is 7200lbs. but the truck (with me in it) weighs 5200lbs. Id' have to carry a ton of camping gear (including tongue weight) to get to the GVWR. That being said, and in absence of a CAT scale weigh slip, I've temporarily programmed my setup (as you suggested) by using the GVWRs of both units. I figure this is above my actual weight but will have to do until we hit the scales.

The closest CAT scale to us looks to be in Suffolk. But there are a few places around here (Big Charlies Truck Stop is right down the street) that have some type of scales.
