Garmin Dezi Truck GPS (gets good reviews from truckers and RV owners)- which has the propane setting for truck mode (but not RV mode) so just set a truck profile with the specs for your RV including propane, and you get proper routing. This is what is baffling about the Garmin RV GPS - they already have a firmware capable of having a propane setting and they leave it out of the RV GPS.
Are the propane rules for trucks and RVs the same?
There is a huge difference between a truck transporting propane and an RV with a few gallons of propane.
When you get to the road or entrance to the bridge or tunnel, the sign says NO PROPANE PERMITTED. I have yet to see one that says Trucks Only.
