THANK YOU just the type of info I was looking for and good to have a pic so I know whether to get a straight or right angle adapter for the actual connection to the GPS. For some reason I didn't see or missed your post so I apologize for the extra unneeded post.

Now I wonder if the video input also will take sound from the video camera?

I'm actually in the process of setting up a multi purpose video camera system based on the Summer Infant Baby Monitor system model that has the aux battery pack for the camera. This system will serve as a hitch hookup system, a way to check the gutters on my home for debris, a front door monitor at our home, and a backup camera when towing. It has a lot of advantages over a lot of the existing camera systems, but that is a discussion for a different thread.
