Had a chance to try mine out yesterday evening on a short road trip. At first, I was concerned about the size (7inch) and whether it would take up too much real estate on my dash, but the additional content and detail that the size allows turned out to be well worth the additional size. Installed the linking app on my iPhone (easy to do and no charge for the app). Really liked the ability to get the weather display, and using it as a speakerphone worked really well, especially since it displayed/used the contacts I have stored on the phone. The 'look ahead' feature worked really well, and it was easy to select an item and add it to the route. No more "Recalculating" when you divert from the route. The unit just goes ahead and establishes a new route automatically. Especially nice when I get off the highway for gas. A different twist on verbal instructions on routing. The 'voice' speaks in a more natural language, saying things like, "in one-half mile, turn left on Peterson Street". I understand that it will also incorporate landmarks in the verbal routing instructions, a' la' "In one-half mile, turn left on Peterson Street past the Old Town Cinema", but I haven't run into that yet. Lots of features yet to be used, but I'm liking what I see so far.
Yeah, I was really shocked when it told me to "turn left at the end of the road" Never heard that before
