Garmin Unveils 1st Navigation Device for RVers

Garmin will ship its first portable navigation device (PND) intended for RV users in the summer. According to a press release, the Garmin RV 760LMT will retail for a suggested $399.

The device features a large 7-inch screen and ability to generate routes based on the height and weight restrictions of roads and bridges. Users enter their vehicle’s height, weight, length and width to find routes suitable for their RV, the company said.

Looks like competition for the other ones on the market.

  • Not the same thing I'm sure but: There are POI's that are available for the Garmens that will give you the same information. However, they do not allow you to include them in the routing so the OPs Garmin information would certainly be a better way to go...but in the meantime.......
  • Just what I have been WAITING for. I almost pulled the trigger on the Desl 760 and decided to hold off and see if an RV GPS would be released. Thank you for the great news and posting it.
