Transfer via SD card does not require any external access or communication access. Your files and whatever are never exposed to the internet and the WORLDWide web. Safe and easy. If you have an SD drive on both computers, I like that option, but I have a 64GB USB drive that is less than 1" long, and stays on my keychain.
