Getting TV to work in my bedroom

First tell us what you have.

Movie: Blue ray or DVD
Player What outputs does it have
RV: what type of video selector does it have (Wall plate or box of many buttons, Many people improperly call the wall plate the antenna booster)

Let me make some basic assumptions

DVD with A/V out and Wall plate (NOTE if Blue Ray and HDMI out only the price changes)

First: you need a Modulator, this is a box that takes your A/V (3 RCA jacks red/white/yellow) (OR HDMI if Blue Ray) and converts it to modulated RF sent via COAX,, It should have TWO coax connections (IN and OUT), Make sure you get the right one (A/V or HDMI) and if it only has one Coax connector get an A/B switch to go with it.

On the wall plate: Remove the wall plate and look at the back side, with the 12 volt outlet at the top disconect the 2nd coax cable..

If the modulator has an ANTENNA/CABLE in jack extend this cable to that port and connect it..

The RF-Out goes to the port on the wall plate.

NO Ant/Cable in on the modulator, run the park cable to teh "A" port on an A/B switch (park cable is often analog) and run the RF-out from the modulator to the B (for binary, another way to say digital) side, Short jumper from the common connector goes to the now vacant port on the wall plate.

To watch DVD on all TV's. Turn off wall plate, Turn on MOdulator set A/B switch to B.

if you have a box of many buttons.. IT may have a modulator built in, if not feed the modulator to any unused input port AUX, Satellite or VCR will do

If you want to go with the splitter route, you could try a 1-into-two splitter and a long coax.

Alternatively you could use a video select box, set (normally backwards) so the DVD feeds the output, then you switch to select which TV gets the video.

If you are talking about watching a DVD in the bedroom then you should install a DVD in the bedroom. Just move the disk from the living room to the bedroom and you are in business. Trying to make a connection between the front DVD and the bedroom TV will work but it will be in such poor quality that you will likely be asleep before you can get very far into the movie!

You need a coax from the dvd player to the tv in the bedroom. How that is accomplished varies from one rv to the next. Time to start checking and trying different things.
