You just deleted the icon.. You need to go into APP MANAGER. find Chrome and tap UNINSTALL at least on my Droids.
You might also want to install an app like LOOKOUT. It does what it can to combat malware. also comes in handy when I can't find my 'droid. IT can make phone very noisy.. also brick it.
