Who watches Fox News?
Fox has the largest viewership of any US network for news, even with almost 20 hours a day of 'entertainment' programming by their own definitions.
As of the end of 2013 - the last full year for ratings - Fox continues to dominate - their 12th straight year as the mainstream media source for more American viewers than any other network.
Fox has almost more viewers than MSNBC (2nd place) and CNN (3rd place) combined.
The bad news is that 2013 saw a decline in the number of viewers of almost 19% compared to the 2012 election year. I expect the 2014 numbers will show a increase in viewership.
Fox sets the news agenda for the United States. Other news source have to follow the stories Fox sets as important.
But more importantly - the viewership numbers translate directly into advertising revenue.
During the CNN outage, the network was forced to refund some money to advertisers. Fox risks losing more money that way.
Yes, and people listen to Rush Limbaugh by the millions. And he does the same thing that Fox News does day in and day out. Spews the same right wing talking points. They preach to the Choir (i.e. listening audience). Let's be clear here....audience numbers by no means translates in to reporting accuracy or credibility.
We have to listen to some one that is not on the DNC payroll. ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and CNN are on the DNC payroll. Have to find balance somewhere.
Simple. Solution......Use. the. Channel. Select. Buttons.......
Or
Simply. Turn. It. Off...
Don't tell. Us. What. You don't. Want to. Watch....
Simply....DO NOT WATCH IT..
Pretty. Easy if you think about it.
Absolutely!!!!!! Some people do not do their homework.
