Sorry, I thought I was being clear enough when I said "I use any webmail exclusively on the web.". By that I meant that I download no email through a webmail client to my standalone email client. Yes, the servers I use to download my email are managed by my ISP, which is indeed paid for. I didn't mean to be obtuse.
