Good Sam DISH Offer

Question

Has anybody taken advantage of the Good Sam/Dish offer that frequently appears on this site? It looks like the same 49.99 price lock offer that you get on the Dish site, but includes a $100.00 Camping World gift card.
Are there any "gotches" you have found? Such as:
"Only available to NEW Good Sam members"
"Only good at Camping World in Alaska"
"Expires in one minute if not used"
Is actually a slightly different price lock plan than Dish offers, for example, does not include lifetime HD or has additional "unspecified" fees.

I cant find it on Good Sams website. I googled DISH Good Sams and found an old webpage that expired in June. I am calling DISH next week as I am going at least with the 24 month deal. Camping World is supposed to have a deal too which I cant find.

I am a pay-as-you-go Dish subscriber. I called Dish about switching to this deal and they said I can't, I would have to drop Dish for 6 months and then try again. Maybe after football season... but otherwise not happy.

So I signed up for this today. Only gotcha is a one time $50 dollar origination fee and they "give" you three free months of Premiums and service contract but automatically start charging if you dont call and cancel. Which I have already have Siri set to remind me.

Also, to get SEC channel, you have to get the $13/mo sports package, free for one year, have to pay after that.

The $100 gift card will pay the $50 connection fee.

Still better than DTV for $125/mo.

Have to buy a new DISH dish for the tripod.

They said nothing about an origination fee. I asked about any "installation fees" but forgot about "origination fees". I will have to check into that first thing in the morning. Otherwise everything went smoothly and appears on the up and up. I wanted Dish primarily for the Pac-12 network, since I live on the west coast.
