I can track any of my Apple devices two ways, Find my iPhone/iPad and Find Friends.

If you have or obtain a ham radio license, you can use APRS. All you need is a radio. It does a lot more, too but that's one use for it.

we use life 360 on phones

I have Real-Time GPS Tracker 2 installed on my Android smartphone. It sends real-time GPS tracking data to a mapping website at settable time intervals. Our kids and friends can access the website to see where we currently are, and my wife can access it to see where I am on my near daily 5 mile exercise walks.

When we were leaving Organ Pipe last winter our daughter asked the Border Patrol to put one on us so she would know where we at.

My wife and I use a Good Sam RV GPS powered by Rand MaNally. Logged in about 6500 miles with it. Very good unit.

I plan on buying one and based on feedback and a review I will buy this one GPS GPRS
