GPS Tracker For RV

Are any of you using a GPS Tracker (Asset Tracker) for your RV's? I'd be interested in hearing what brand you're using and any experiences you've had or expect to have with it.

Thanks
  • This does both temperature and GPS location monitoring and has a phone app.

  • I can track any of my Apple devices two ways, Find my iPhone/iPad and Find Friends.
  • If you have or obtain a ham radio license, you can use APRS. All you need is a radio. It does a lot more, too but that's one use for it.
  • I have Real-Time GPS Tracker 2 installed on my Android smartphone. It sends real-time GPS tracking data to a mapping website at settable time intervals. Our kids and friends can access the website to see where we currently are, and my wife can access it to see where I am on my near daily 5 mile exercise walks.

    Thanks

When we were leaving Organ Pipe last winter our daughter asked the Border Patrol to put one on us so she would know where we at.
  • My wife and I use a Good Sam RV GPS powered by Rand MaNally. Logged in about 6500 miles with it. Very good unit.
