Harbor Freight Camera System as Backup Camera
Harbor Freight sells a security camera system for $79 . It is a 110 volt, but really runs on 12 vt. It looks like a nice enough package .... IF IT LASTS ! Most of the things I have bought there .....

I bought THIS camera on Amazon for $15 shipped. I attached it to the top of a metal license plate frame. My experience agrees with most of the reviewers -- great quality picture! It doesn't include a monitor, but did include enough cable to run from the license plate frame under the truck, and ending up on the dash. I plugged mine into my CTS Edge Insight Monitor (provides digital gauges from data off the OBD2 port). You could use any monitor designed for these cameras.
Below is a pic of the monitor -- it's in gauge mode in the pic, but as soon as I put the truck in reverse, it automatically goes to the rear view picture.
