Thanks all!
Looks like my Coach has everything I need as far as antennia for local programming.
Normally, we don't get a lot of channels, regardless of our location. Is the a special set top box or receiver I need to help pick up more channels, or HD channels?
Make sure you have the booster on. Usually located in a cabinet with a 12 volt outlet and coax connector.
What I was to find out from a neighboring CG buddy is 'how' you tune it.
With the old TV's all you had to do was throw the antenna up and give the dial a spin in the general direction everyone else s was and you got all the channels.
You CAN"T do that with digital. Turn it in the direction everyone else has but THEN you have to inch the dial very slowly to fine tune the signal. And if you have to move it a substantial amount you have to hit scan channels on your TV again. Bit of a pain but you'll get used to it. It's been my experience that big trees seemed to be the main problem.
Now when I enter a CG park I do look for a site that has an open clear shot at the sky in the direction every one is pointing their antenna. Didn't have to do that in the ole days! :B
