x2 on this. Maybe you've already checked out the power supply, but if not, I suggest you do that. Unfortunately, the schematics are unobtanium. Current Samsung service manuals are nothing more than instructions for swapping the boards. At least some of the power supplies have really good board labeling for the connector pins that can help check out the power output.
The Samsung PS has problems with the capacitors. It is very easy to see which ones are bad because they are pooched out. The kits you buy on eBay have all those caps in it and it is very easy to take the old one out and replace it. Hard part is getting the tv apart
