HDMI splitters with DirecTV
Getting ready to upgrade my equipment to Genies. I don't think Genies have RCA or component outputs. I have three tvs running off of one receiver currently using the HDMI, RCA and component outputs....

Strange. I had the same set up with the old
receiver and had sound using component cables. Just unplugged from the old receiver and into the new one.
A 5 rca component connection will have audio. A 3 rca will only have video.
There's a less common 4 rca that sends digital audio over a single cable, usually using a orange rca jack.
