HDMI splitters with DirecTV

Getting ready to upgrade my equipment to Genies. I don't think Genies have RCA or component outputs. I have three tvs running off of one receiver currently using the HDMI, RCA and component outputs. Was going to use a HDMI splitter from Amazon but reviews state it wouldn't work with DirecTV. Any ideas? I do know neither of my "slave" tvs will get a signal unless the HDMI connected tv is left on under the current configuration. They did originally but DirecTV changed something about a year ago.

If you get the splitter, get one with dip switches so you can adjust the HDCP settings if needed. Copy protection aka HDCP is the only reason I could see a splitter not working.

You will have the same program on every TV, and the TVs should all be set for the same resolution (720p or 1080i)

    Thanks. I'll check into that.

Your going Genie? Simply add wireless minis for each TV after your main one. Done!
That requires a wireless network and internet connection...so does the genie to work properly
