I'm all for the HUD. Corvettes and other cars have had HUD images reflected onto their windshields. I'm all for it. It would, as designed, keep my eyes on what's going on outside my car and still feed me the info I need. Seems that those that don't like HUD don't know HUD.
Granted I've not used HUD, but anything that distracts me from the view out the front window is a distraction. IMO the fewer of those the better.
