Outside temp display

Walmart has a whole isle of inside outside wireless temp gadgets!

I had one where you put a small unit outside up to 300 feet and the receiver inside would tell you everything you wanted to know about the weather just short of if you were going to win the lottery. Even had a little guy on the screen that told you what to wear that day depending on the weather outside!!

I used Velcro to mount this on my dash:

It has a clock with both indoor and outdoor temps. All wireless with a large display that I can read across the rig.

Just get a simple indoor/outdoor wireless thermometer. I bought mine at Radio Shack.

I have gone through several. The most reliabe for me has been the Weathertech FX5000 from the Discovery Channel.

I have the nice LACROSSE panel inside that uses a wireless outside detector.

As mentioned there are lots of wireless indoor/outdoor thermometers available. You just need to find a shady spot with free air flow to hang the outdoor sensor to get accurate readings. And not forget to retrieve it before you leave.
I have 4 at different locations including one in the RV, most being Oregon Scientific.

I picked up an atomic clock with indoor/outdoor temperure readings at Big Lot's for $5. I usually put the remote sensor in the refrigerator to monitor its temperature but it can be placed outside as well. With my luck I would drive away and forget to bring it back in. I guess you could put the mount somewhere on the side of the RV to avoid that problem.

Radio Shack unit for 8 years. Has three remote sensors, two still work. One is in the freezer and the other is on a shelf in my propane compartment out of the weather but with plenty of airflow. I can move it (velcro) to the other side of the coach if I am parked with the PS facing south. I used to have the 3rd in the utility bin to watch for freeze up if we were in winter conditions.

We have an inside/outside wireless thermometer. DH puts the outside thermometer on scissor chock so that it is not in the sun & he does not forget it. This time of year, before we winterize because we are still camping, on nights we are concerned about dropping temps we bring one part in the house & put the other in the basement of the 5th wheel so we can monitor it.
