Posting here as the RVing with disabilities forum seem to get few posts. I am aware that some of you may respond with something like "this forum is not the place to get medical advise":) So here go...

Some tinnitus can be caused by some of today's OTC drugs, Ibuprofen/Advil, for one. After I found out it was a potential side effect, I stopped taking Ibuprofen and my tinnitus stopped.
