Help changing password on hotmail

I've done it before but they've changed the site and now I can't figure out how to change my password. I'm on Outlook and can figure out how to change my profile, etc, but can't find where the place is to change the password.

  • In Outlook.com:

    • Click your account name in the upper right of the page, and in the drop down box, select "Account settings".

    • Under Overview on the left side of the page, select "Password".
  • The Hotmail that became Outlook.com has nothing to do with the old Outlook used at many companies.

The new one is totally based on the web. There is only one site to go to. Does not matter what computer is used, or where you are.

If you enter your e-mail name and password and see the Outlook E-mail site, you are on the one and only site.

Change the password where? On hotmail.com or your Outlook account that receives the email from Hotmail?

The new Outlook mail is now web based. Hotmail no longer exists. All your data was migrated over to Outlook. Use the help section to locate your contacts, etc.
Your right - I forgot about that, but my question is still realavant...

  • Go into TOOLS...
    Go into ACCOUNT SETTINGS
go into PASSWORD and make the change.

To get into TOOLS click on you name at the top right of Outlook.
