Thanks for the information. I was confused because I assumed that winegard, being a big player in the satellite dish business, would have every angle covered and if they didn't have a portable tripod dish for DirecTV in HD then no one would. I'm glad I was wrong. I will use the existing winegard roof mounted dish since it's already there just for in motion tv, SD will be good enough for while we are traveling. But I will get the tripod mount dish that can receive HD for while we are parked at the campsites.
