HooToo TripMate Elite, successful "WIFI as WAN".

This little item will do WIFI as WAN, just like the more expensive Cradlepoint and pepwave units. This will properly display and prompt you for the campground "I Agree" page as well. You can also plug in thumb drives, external USB harddrives etc, and create your own storage "cloud".

    What you don't get for that price is the transmit power capabilities of the Pepwave, Cradlepoint or other WiFi as WAN routers. This isn't going to be a range extender; but it will help if you are at a park that only permits one device to be connected to its network.

    I have this unit. It works great. Will also power a Chromecast. I plug in an external 1TB hard drive while on the road. My daughter has her choice of media from her 8.9" Kindle. I also used the Tripmate as a backup house router when the home unit died.

    That looks like a nice unit. There are 2 additional models as well that are $5 & $10 less expensive that change how large the internal battery is or how it's charged but all 3 models have the "WIFI as WAN" capability.
