Hopper without dish or internet...
Anyone know if I can use the hopper like a DVD player? IOW, just unplug it from the house and set it into the trailer and plug it into the TV. Then just play already recorded content? Thanks Dan

I just got back from a weekend of camping. I confirmed that the hopper without any other connections was able to play pre-recorded shows without any issues.
I did have two unexplained "crashes" where the hopper rebooted unexpectedly. I have never seen that at home.
Anyway, the main thing is it works!
