To upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10 you must have Service Pack 1 installed and Win 7 activated. I don't recall if the upgrade prompted for a license key when I upgraded from Win 7. If it asks, try skipping that step and see if it will continue without entering the key. Check the following link for help:
