I didn't try burning the DVR, but it will not install directly without a product key. That's how I was trying to do it! I suspect that trying to install from the DVR would have the same result.
It worked fine on the 2 computers I used it on to do the upgrade. Was never asked for the product key.
You did say you have a properly activated version of Win 7 installed, didn't you?
