How cold is too cold for LCD/flat panel tv?

Temps going back down into the 20's tonight. At what point do I have to worry about the TV in the new to us TT getting damaged from the cold?

Wrong! LCD panels cannot freeze! And there are hundreds of thousands in automobiles that operate just fine when "frozen" as you would say. It was -2F last night where I live, yet somehow the 8" LCD panel in my Ram worked just fine when it was soaked all night in the cold. Please don't feed the myth....

It is not about the LED. It is about moisture on electronic components that drive the LED. Not all LED monitors are made to automotive standards.

When moving your TV from an area of low temperature to an area of high temperature, condensation may form in the housing. Wait before turning on your TV to avoid causing fire, electric shock, or component damage.

I will warm up my MH first.

Dont forget that these things make it to market from Nome to Phoenix, winter or summer in uninsulated freight trucks.

Nome by freight truck? When did they put a road into Nome?:h

Do you see a ship dropping off merchandise at the stores direct now?
