How do I hook up old DVD player to new HDMI TV

I have an older Sony DVD with the Red/White & Green/Blue/Red plugs, or I can get a Red/White/Yellow. I have a new TV with HDMI only plugs. Is there an adapter I can buy to plug the R/W & G/B/R p...

Ok...think I got it figured out. It is a Samsung Series 5 (5000/5010) LED TV.

I found the booklet and in the baggie I found a "Component Adapter" cable.

One end has the Red/White Audio with the Red/Green/Blue plugs...the other end has a Seafoam Green square plug with 2 prongs that go into the TV set where is says AV IN and COMPONENT IN.

Going to go see if I can get it to work and will try and find a picture of it to post.
