As others have mentioned it is difficult and mostly you can only slow down someone determined to steal it by attaching a cable. Maybe set-up a camera like hunters use so at least you might have some video evidence if it walks off. These game camera's are also pretty good for monitoring your campsite as long as you do a good job in hiding them or they may grow legs as well.
