The only Kindle currently available with page buttons is the Oasis at nearly $300. All the rest use the touch screen, although it's a simple touch, a swipe isn't needed.
Peggy has the paperwhite and is very happy with it. She uses it every day for at least 2 hours, sometimes more, and the battery life is easily over a week. My Kindle DX has the page turn buttons, plus the 10" screen so I don't have to turn pages so often. One of the things I love about it.
