Yes, but a 32GB thumb drive on Amazon is $6.99 (if you don't already have one) and requires no software installation like above. Simplest and easiest, even easier than if you have a router due to need to create shares between the two computers on your network. And it is much easier then pulling the old computer hard drive and putting it in a case for attachment to the new computer.
