I'm in the same predicament.
My big concern is how to copy the stored password pages. Since all my passwords are set to just fill in when I visit a website.
I have tons of them stored and can't remember them all. I don't see a way to copy the pages of stored passwords. I started writing them all down but gave up way too many.
anyone know how to get the stored passwords pages copied and/or transferred to new laptop.??
When you use Chrome (or a similar) browser, your password memory is part of your Chrome account and will be remembered external to any particular device you use your Chrome account on. No such worries. In addition it remembers all your Chrome settings (such as your bookmarks) if you sync your Chrome devices (which is the top option in Chrome settings).
And no worries about exposing your passwords this way, there are many more likely ways to expose your passwords then via Google or any company whose reputation and fortunes are dependent on its security.
