Must say it is an odd looking inlet and I agree that pinched ribbon would bug me.

The only thing that jumps out at me is the white gadget in the lower right with the wires pinched under the trim board. I don't know what it is, but I don't like the way it's installed. Everything else looks pretty good although I don't know why they used a flex cable stub and plug for the generator connection instead of a box mounted plug.
