If we get I-phones, should I get 2, one for each of us. Or do you guys make do with one I-phone per family?

To you folks that love your smart phones . . . do you use them instead of a laptop or in addition to one?
in addition to the PCs. there are some things that are just plain easier on a PC. - jcpainterExplorerTo you folks that love your smart phones . . . do you use them instead of a laptop or in addition to one?
- GjacExplorer IIIKnowing what I know now that I didn't think about when I got ours a year ago. I would get a bigger screen for my wife's phone so that you can use it for a GPS and see it better. I like the smaller models to put in my pocket. The wives carry their's in their pocketbook anyways so size doesn't matter. My son in law broke two screens on his I phone 6 model.
- Paul_ClancyExplorerSmart phones are wonderful devices but be warned that once you have a good one it is very hard to be without.

I would say it's personal need..are there times you would be in different locations and need to get ahold of each other? - FlapperExplorerWe each got one last Xmas. Cost per phone is high, but with AT&T you share the talk/data time. We have the smallest plan, which has unlimited talk/text, and most data we use is over wifi (free). When we are on trips, it's only $20 extra per gig if we go over on cell data, so over the course of the year we save big time, rather than enrolling in a higher data plan.
- All_I_could_affExplorerHey I am about as cheap as people come... The kids got wife and my old phones when we became eligible for free or low-cost upgrades. Our youngest (8) has an iPhone 4 that does not have a active service contract but she knows how to use it to communicate using the Wi-Fi which is just about everywhere where we live.
