I think we'll be cable tv cordcutters - roku tv

as cox is shutting off its analog cable with which our old big analog tv and old analog series 2 tivo have done so well, having no cable card slot on the tivo, we'd be forced into a sub-par cox dvr. ...

For the most part, I watch a show the next season. I stopped caring about seeing the "latest" episode and focused more on seeing things I hadn't seen before.

If it's something that I don't want to wait for the next season, then I purchase or rent the latest season on Amazon. Even with the added costs, I'm still paying far less than I did with cable.

If seeing the latest season as it's airing is important to you, then cutting the cord might not be worth it. You really have to look at how you watch.
