ok, ota-minded peeps mourning the loss of your dvr...i started here my earlier thread about dvrs

here is a dvr that seems to be of recent origin that i saw at walmart for $50.

after looking at all suggestions, i think this box is a pretty solid choice for 2 days schedulable EPG recording. it scans ota digital and as a digital-transport- adapter, it puts out a signal that plays thru analog devices including my old tivo

alas, i'm still unable to get tivo ir blaster to change this (or any other) DTA's tuner

the tuner is strong and gives great pic. the too tiny remote allows very easy record-now, or schedule multiple recordigs from EPG.

has HDMI, coax, and analog ports, needs a usb stick/hdd

a must have for home or rv w/ ota and no dvr
