I'm not sure I understand what you're referring to?
The Chrome book is made by Samsung. They probably paid Google something to use Chrome, but I didn't buy it directly myself. As far as using Chrome as a browser, I don't see any difference between using it on the Chrome book or using Google Search on my Windows lap top. I haven't seen an error message yet now that you mention it.
Or, were you pulling my leg and I missed something?
