Import Favorites from Windows Vista to Windows 8.1

Hope someone can walk me thru this. I've tried doing a search but can't seem to find anything on this. I want to get my old computer's Vista favorites to my new computer windows 8.1. I found a ...

What is a "Vista favorite?". I was unaware that the Vista version of windows had a favorites place.
