Indoor / outdoor thermometer?

I would really like to get one of these when we get our class c, just wondering who had one, experiences with it, where to locate the outside unit etc?...
  • Those wireless thermometers are "Part 15" devices and use a 433 MHz radio link.

They MUST NOT cause interference to licensed users of that frequency and they MUST ACCEPT all interference from the licensed users.

If you live within 10 miles of Ivanhoe, Illinois they won't work because there is a Ham Radio TV station (N9AB) on that frequency band.

Back in the '80s and '90s I was involved in *EME communications and the ERP of my station on 432,025 MHz was only 500KW.
