It's installed on one laptop ... So, am not sure, is the install program different than the printer program.
Not very "tech', so am not sure exactly what that means ... Two programs to install the printer?
What I have is a printer. It's fairly new ... and I can't find the disk - not even sure there was one, might have been pre-loaded. If I download it on a hotspot, it will cost a fortune for 21 hours, which seems to me a very long time. So, was surprised ... generally, loading off the disk is small time - so, maybe it's very slow downloading drivers - I thought it was quick ... maybe printer is not usable then.
We now have three printers that look brand new, work fine, but have lasted so long - well, couple years (a good thing usually) that we can't even make them operate because we had to buy a new LT. Getting tired of buying everything else (printer, software, etc) every time a computer wears out or fails. The gets expensive to retrofit everything just because ONE thing breaks. :( :(
No wonder the electronics industry gets so rich - selling you everything twice or three times. Wish I could do that - guess we're getting too old for this new world of waste and throw-away everything. Well, the alternative not so attractive either -- :) :) :)
