My larger point however was a Group 24 does not= an 8D or 4D or ... Well I once borrowed a Fork Lift battery. .We ran 3 2-way radios for 24 hours. including the rotor for the directional antenna and everyting to do with the operation including some lighting and stuff.. All of it. 24 hours. plus and they told me I returned it at over 90% charge.. Oh we were top battery station in the state that year.
The fork lift that loaded the battery (Strapped to a pallet) onto the trailer.. Powered by another of the same battery.
THe company that loned me did well.. (Chalked it up to advertising) One of the club members was involved as a technical type at a local TV station. THey needed some BIG batteries for their remote trucks. the truck's chassis battery did not have the OOMPH needed to run the hydraulic tower up like 50 feet.. Same company was contacted and sold 'em a whole bunch of big, heavy, EXPENSIVE, Refurburished batteries.
