IPHONE 6 PLUS vs. SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 4

In the market for a new phone and have it narrowed down to the two above...

I have always used the android operating system but all the girls in my family have IPhones...I use a smartphone for emails and banking mainly but also checking out certain websites...no gaming or downloading things

Any suggestions, advice, pros and cons, etc. on the above 2 phones??

  • I have the Note 4. I love it. I love the Qualcomm Quickcharge 2.0 feature. I love the Ant+ connectivity to exercise things. I like the heart rate and SpO2 level meter. I like the screen.
  • I got the Samsung just for the camera. Great pictures. And the audio is better than the Motorola I had before.
  • I have a IPad, Samsung G5, & Blackberry all are good. I know how to run'em very well. Samsung camera is WOW! Good luck.
  • If you already have Apple devices (we have a large Mac desktop), i Pad's etc then getting an i Phone is a no brainer. I love my i Phone 6+! I recently upgraded from the my old i Phone 5 and got a $200 trade in credit.

The larger screen/keyboard is so much easier to see and operate. Yes, it is larger but since i pretty much live in a pair of cargo shorts with large pockets (ya gotta love living in Arizona), the increased size is not an issue. There are so many improvements in the 6/6+ over the 5 (which i liked, my bride still has hers and is very happy with it), that the upgrade was the best choice for me.

    :C
  • I'm a big fan of IPhones and other things Apple. I've had androids and found them more complicated than required. More open, feature rich, just more complicated. Things may have improved. To me both of the phones are too big. I want something bigger than my 5s so the six may be in the cards.

I also like the apple as I can start something on the iPhone and pick it up on my IPad. I only became an apple fan after I got my iPhone 3gs and got hooked.
  • Love my Galaxy S5 active. Hard to break if dropped, water resistant down to 1 meter, and can change the battery very easily if I forget to plug it in at night. I do do not do gaming or like to down load much. I am still finding new to me aps that are very functional. It's only the Active model that has the gorilla glass and the water resistance.
I am hard on phones, it was my kids that determined that this is the phone I need and they are right!
