I agree with the comments about itunes. Using it to manage an audio library of 1000s of songs is a mess. They even dropped app management from the latest release.
However, out ipod touch IV has performed like a champ for years. Only issue is that apple doesn't update ios past version 6 and most new apps require later versions so we can't use them.
